Concours CNRS 2024 (english)
The “concours CNRS 2024” opened on Wednesday, January 10. Applications must be submitted before Friday, February 9, 2024 1:00 pm (CET) via the link: https://concourschercheurs2024.dsi.cnrs.fr/accueil.php?langue=uk
Letters of recommendation are to be submitted by their authors, only during the application period, at the following link: https://www.cnrs-bellevue.fr/formulaires/scc-recommandation2024.php
The CRCN and DR2 positions open in Section 17 for 2024 are as follows:
- N°17/01 – 6 DR2 (senior) positions. Competition open on the scientific themes covered by Section n°17.
- N°17/02 – 6 CRCN (permanent/staff) junior positions. Competition open on the scientific themes covered by Section n°17.
The provisional timetable is as follows:
- February 9, 2024 (1:00 pm CET): deadline for submission of applications
- February 20, 2024: Equivalence body and jury board
- March 11 to 15, 2024: Jury of admissibility (JAD) CRCN and DR2
- May 6 and 7, 2024: DR2 interviews at IAP
- May 13 to 16, 2024: CRCN interviews at Paris Observatory
- May 17, 2024: DR2 jury
- May 21 and 22, 2024: CRCN jury
We strongly encourage all those living abroad, pregnant candidates and candidates whose state of health warrants it, to request permission to be interviewed by videoconference as soon as they submit their application.
The request must be made to the Service Central des Concours.
We recommend that you also send a copy to the address of the president of Section 17.
We recommend that candidates who have obtained their PhD diploma abroad, in a language other than French, provide a sworn translation of their diploma as soon as they submit their application, to avoid any legal concerns.
“External” DR2 senior positions :
As in previous years, “external” DR2 positions are available for all CNRS Sections and CIDs. INSU and Section 17 would like to emphasize that the integration of the candidate into the French community must be thoroughly prepared in advance, to ensure that this integration is rapidly effective in the event of a recruitment.
